Immune System has a variety of tissues and organs, each contributing in some way to the specialized functions of the Immune System. The immune system is located and has access to all parts of the body.

It detects a wide variety of agents, from viruses to intestinal parasites, and needs to distinguish them from their own cells and tissues of the body to function properly.

BONE MARROW
Bone marrow is the flexible tissue in the interior of bones. In humans, red blood cells are produced in the heads of long bones in a process known as hematopoesis.

The thymus is a specialized organ of the immune system, is composed of two identical lobes. The thymus is located anatomically in the mediastinum, in front of the heart and behind the sternum. In the two thymic lobes, hematopoietic precursors from the bone-marrow, referred to as thymocytes, mature into T-cells

The spleen, is approximately 22 centimeters in length. It usually weighs between 150 grams It acts primarily as a blood filter The spleen plays important roles in regard to red blood cells and the immune system

VERMIFORM APPENDIX
It is a tube with lymphatic functions (functions for cleaning and body defense), exocrine (producing enzymes) and endocrine (hormone released into the bloodstream) to the neuromuscular.

TONSIL
Situated at either side at the back of the human throat The palatine tonsils and the nasopharyngeal tonsil are lymphoepithelial tissues. These immunocompetent tissues are the immune system's first line of defense Tonsillitis is a disorder in which the tonsils are inflamed

Peyer's patch
Are organized lymphoid nodules, They are aggregations of lymphoid tissue that are usually found in the lowest portion of the small intestine, the ileum, in humans; as such, they differentiate the ileum from the duodenum and jejunum.

-Organ-Specific Diabetes Mellitus Type I, autoimmune thrombocytopenic purpura, Sclerosis Myasthenia Gravis Multi, autoimmune hepatitis, Inflammatory Bowel Disease -Organ-nonspecific: Vasculitis, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, Sarcoidosis
