A CHROME SYNTAN FOR A MILD RETANNAGE OF SOFT LEATHERS SUITABLE APPLICATIONS: shoe upper bag leather garment automotive upholstery double face PRODUCT BENEFITS: dyeing: fullness: softness: SYNTAN CR 505 increases the affinity for dyestuffs and ensures level and full shades SYNTAN CR 505 notably adds to a full handle. SYNTAN CR 505 is a soft and mild retanning agent. Softness is further improved by a better fixation of fatliquoring when using SYNTAN CR 505. Rechroming with SYNTAN CR 505 gives leathers a tight and fine grain. SYNTAN CR 505 levels differences between wetblues from different batches and different suppliers and assists in standardizing posttanning processes.

GENERAL: SYNTAN CR 505 is mainly used for the mild retannage of wetblue stock. It is applied before neutralization, alone or in combination with chrome or other mineral tanning agents. For double face 2-3g/l SYNTAN CR 505 can be used during tannage and rechroming. ADVISED APPLICATIONS: rechroming SYNTAN CR 505 can be used for white and lightfast articles. PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS: chemical base : Chrome containing mixture of synthetic tanning products Total solids : > 93% appearance : Green powder pH (10% solution) : 3.5 4.5 STORAGE LIFE: SYNTAN CR 505 has a shelf life of at least one year when stored in the original sealed packaging at temperatures between 0C and 50C.
