Language Learning-- One-on-one or group -- which is better in the global village?

Globalisation has brought with it a flux of impatriates coming to India for business reasons. English serves as the lingua franca for communication. Teaching English One-one is the choice for customised language learning and is common in the western countries. But, is it really effective? Join us on this paper to explore three different learning styles that we`ve explored on our way one-onone teaching, teaching to a group, or a mix of both. We weigh the pros and cons of these methods by analysing learner difficulties and learner outcomes. Learner feedback on these styles is collected to understand these methods clearly. This research is specific to teaching of English skills in a business context. Towards the end of this journey, you will be in a position to practically tailor these different styles to different learner needs.
