from the College analysis because the author doesnt usually look at who the main audience really is. Even though they both are very important in education, tests in college are more relaxed than tests like the SAT. The five paragraph essay however isnt as laid back because its tougher to make new ideas for the paragraphs. On an educational test you know exactly what to talk about. One example of focusing on one subject is naming my elements on a chemistry test. I knew exactly what to answer on and nothing more or less. However on the five paragraph essay with the prompt that I had, it was very easy for me to write the same ideas but only in a different way. Another difference is the way that you study for the college test and prepare for a five paragraph essay. The SAT is difficult to study for because even if you practice for it, you dont truly know what to expect on it so you cant truly study for it. Educational tests however you can usually study for because you know what is going to be on the test. The routine for both test usually consist of you sitting down, being quiet and starting the test when the teacher tells you to start. They are both usually made by people who have some experience in teaching whether they have a degree or not. The maker of the five paragraph format wanted probably wanted to see how much material the students can get out of the text. . It helps the students to mature by teaching them to make topics for them to write about before just starting the paper. The genres of Educational tests and the five paragraph essay and teach me

that even though high school and college are different in certain ways, they both help you to learn and mature.
