Electrostatic Generator Seminar Report

Electricity is the most important need of everyone on today. Due to this many centuries ago the Electrostatic Generator was suggested by the scientist that worked on static electricity principle. Electrostatic Generator is a kind of mechanical device that is used to generate static electricity on the friction principle. Electrostatic Generator generates high voltage and a continuous low current. On to date the elector-dynamic generators are used to generate the electricity instead of electrostatic generators. Static Electricity generation is an interesting phenomenon. In 17th century the scientists has understood the principle of generating electricity by friction but they were not able to generate the static electricity due to undeveloped electrostatic generator. In 18th century the development of electrostatic generator was started and the mechanical energy was converted into electric energy by operating the electrostatic generator by manually or other power. The electrostatic charges of opposite polarity are produced by electrostatic generator that are carried to high potential electrodes by using moving plates or belts. Electrostatic Generator are used at the place where high voltages are required such as in the class rooms where electric forces are introduced.
