Following our critically acclaimed production of Carmen we are now on the lookout for new members (aged between 12 and 25). Whether you are an experienced singer, a beginner or simply someone who is looking for a fabulous new performance opportunity then we can guarantee an experience like no other! We will be holding a free taster workshop for new and existing members prior to the start of rehearsals for our exciting new production of Hansel and Gretel in February 2014. If you would like to join us for this relaxed and fun introduction to Leeds Youth Opera, then please book a place via the information below. The workshop will take place at The Carriageworks Theatre, Millennium Square, Leeds on Saturday 14th September from 10.30am 1.15pm, with rehearsals beginning the following week. This year the Director will continue to sponsor a performer by paying the LYO Membership Fee for one member (open to new and existing members) who shines in the workshop. This may be decided on potential, talent or even simple enthusiasm so come along and have a go!
