    Date: Time: Location: Tuesday, August 13th, 2013 7:00 PM Stoney Creek Inn Conference Center, Salon A 2601 South Providence Road Columbia MO 65203

    The Columbia Police Officers Association will hold a Public Safety Forum for the general public, to: 1. Explain the CPOAs support for the Police Chiefs request for additional officers for the Columbia Police Department, 2. Present detailed and documented justification for the needed officers, 3. Outline the CPOAs position on the Mayors proposed property tax increase, and 4. Answer any and all questions presented by the public regarding the increased level of crime, the departments response to crime in our community, and the proposed addition of more officers. CPOA intends to answer the publics questions honestly, candidly, and without political spin . Unless prevented from doing so by regulation or law, we will answer those questions.
