Waste maritime transport

The new law on local government and decentralized administration, the

obligation to sanitize the illegal sites of waste disposal and the emerging problem
of powers separation between the new municipalities and the old waste
managing bodies (FODSA) are some of the factors that shape the contemporary
landscape on municipal waste management. An effective response to the arising
problems requires a new approach to the selection of the management tools. The
article focuses on the management of municipal solid waste, the legal base for
maritime transport and the powers separation of the managing bodies.
