TASK 1: Portfolio Individual Work Part 1: Compilation of Materials Individually, you are required to develop a portfolio of a selection of articles

on the differences between First and Second Language Acquisition, basic principles, theories, approaches, methods, and techniques in Second Language Teaching and Learning, and Learners and Teachers roles in a language classroom. In your portfolio, you should include an appropriate selection of: two articles on the differences between First and Second Language Acquisition; one article on the basic principles / theories of Second Language Teaching and Learning; one article on the approaches / methods / techniques in Second Language Teaching and Learning; one article on Learners Roles in a language classroom; one article on Teachers Roles in a language classroom. Part 2: Graphic Organiser For each article, complete the grid below: Title Author(s) Source There should be six grids and six graphic organisers for the articles selected. TASK 2 Group Work In groups of 3, select one teaching approach/ method/ technique and demonstrate how to carry it out in the ESL primary classroom. (10 15 mins per group) TASK 3 Reflection Individual Work Write a reflection which considers the following: what has the experience of carrying out the activity taught you about the selected teaching approach/ method/ technique in the teaching of language in the primary ESL classroom

Your reflection will be assessed on the following criteria: maturity of thought in reflections and perspectives organization language

Your reflection should be between 500 600 words.
