Gliclazide 60mg MR 1tab PO OD is the patients actual dose and its classification is Sulfonylurea-Oral, Antidiabetic.

This drug is used in conjunction with diet and exercise regimens to control high blood sugar in non-insulin dependent diabetic patients. Controlling high blood sugar helps prevent heart disease, strokes, kidney disease, circulation problems, and blindness. It is best taken with meals.

Ranitidine 150mg/tab BID PO, pts actual dose and its classification is Histamine-2 (H2) antagonist. This drug competitively inhibits action of histamine at the H2 receptors of the parietal cells of the stomach, inhibiting basal gastric acid secretion and gastric acid secretion that is stimulated by food, insulin, histamine etc. commonly indicated for short-term treatment of active duodenal ulcer. It is best given with meals and at bedtime.

Patients actual dose is FeSO4 1tab OD and it is classified as iron preparation. It elevates the serum iron concentration and is the converted to Hgb or trapped in the reticuloendothelial cells for storage and eventually conversion to a usable form of iron. This drug is indicated in preventing iron-deficiency anemia or used as a dietary supplement for iron. FeSO4 is given best on an empty stomach with water. Take this with liquid preparation diluted in water or juice, and sip through a straw to prevent staining of the teeth.
