MEETING WITH TRIPURA INDIGENOUS LAWYERS ASSOCIATION (TILA)

Date :-07/11/11 Place :- BPHRO Office, Agartala Time :- 11.00 am to 03.30 pm A meeting was organised by Tripura Indigenous Lawyers Association (TILA) on 07/11/11 at BPHRO office. The meeting was start at 11.00 am, Adv. Tapan Debbarma gave introduction speech and present some topics relating to their Organisation. At 11.39 am one senior Adv. Mangal Debbarma gave his valuable speech relating to the history of Indigenous lawyers. The main topics of the meeting were the problems regarding to indigenous lawyers and their future. Another important thing was to conduct free legal campaign for the ordinary people in the remote areas and provide legal aid to the poor people. At last Judicial Magistrate Mr. Motom Debbarma gave some valuable advice to the organisation for more development and encourage for conducting free legal campaign.
