Asian Development Bank, ADP signed an agreement of $615 million for construction of Padma Multipurpose Bridge, earlier they

gave $27 million for feasibility check and design purpose. The government has already signed $1.2 billion with the World Bank (WB), $400 million with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and $140 million with Islamic Development Bank (IDP) to arrange fund for Padma Bridge project. ADP and other International Banks whom agreed to lone for Padma Bridge project should supervise construction work closely. According to the article two most major componentsconstruction of main bridge and river training work is not started till now, the whole construction work may take excessive time. The international agencies should give suggestions to make the work accurate and finish in time. Padma bridge is the proposed 6.5 Km length bridge is longest one still proposed in Bangladesh, It will make a connection between two important region of Bangladesh, exaggerate the development growth and help to fulfill the millennium goal of Bangladesh. After construction of Jamuna bridge people of Bangladesh especially people of south region benefited in an extreme manner.
