Lowery middle school, located in Donaldsonville, La; where the teacher was reported to have used racial slurs

to students.

At Lowery Middle School, a social studies teacher named Lois Polite, used racial slurs and belittled 10-11 year old students on the first day of school. This kind of actions was told from one of the students parents, that took Ms. Polites class, and who experience her harsh language. Lowery Middle school was claimed to have taking actions to fix the problem by offering an apology on the teachers behalf. Which some parents say is definitely not enough and she needs to be terminated from her job. My opinion of this situation is that I think the school is not doing enough, because Polite could easily just give a false apology and keep doing the same thing. I also think that the parents are right; she should be terminated from her job, to also show that being races is not appropriate to anyone and anywhere. No student should have to start a school year out with being called the, N word from a teacher. Teachers are supposed to help you to succeed, not discriminate you!
