Your jazz song should consist of a main section, or head, and at least two solo sections featuring different instruments, followed by a return to the head. You may add an intro or outro as desired. BE SURE TO LABEL YOUR SECTIONS WITH ARRANGEMENT TRACKS. 3. Each section must last at least 8 bars! 4. Your tracks must be grouped vertically in the following way: a. Solo Instruments (e.g. trumpet, saxophone, trombone, etc.) b. Rhythm Section: i. Keyboard/Guitar ii. Bass iii. Drums/Percussion (vibes, Latin percussion, etc.) 5. Consider what youve learned throughout the course about pitch modification, the 12-bar blues, and call and response these concepts will serve you well for this project. 6. Dont forget to use the volume and panning controls to finish your project and avoid clipping! This is especially important to emphasize solo sections!
