    AUSCULTATION OF LUNGS :: POSTERIORLY Auscultation of lungs is a very important part of the physical exam.

    Auscultation of lungs posteriorly provides a very valuable info on, if there are any pathological sounds present i.e rales, rhonchi. and if present as to where they are. Also it is very necessary and utmost important to perform the examination methodically, covering the entire lung area from the apex to the base.
