THE SUSHA FONT


You can read Hindi (Shusha) web pages in Hindi. You can write and create web pages in Hindi with this Font. This font works on PCs and Macs. How to download the Shusha font ?
FOR MACINTOSH

Click on the link to download the font. After the download is finished, You have to unzip the Shusha icon, in most cases if your machine has some unzipping software (e.g. stutffit) it will automatically unzip and you will have a separate Shusha font folder on your desktop. Open the folder and copy the three fonts to your "font folder" in the system folder. Restart your machine and you should be able to use the font.
FOR WINDOWS STEP 1

There could be two cases when you click to download "Shusha": If your browser asks you "open"/"save", choose "save". Select the folder C:\WINDOWS\FONTS and let the process begin. Go to step 3 below. In the second case, your browser downloads the file, modifies the name of the file by appending some characters to the original name of the file, and stores it on your disk in some "temporary internet files" folder! If that happens, just click on the "Done" button on new window. But, you are not done yet! You need to find where the file is! Find the "Shusha" using "Find" utility. (Click on "Start", then "Find", then on "Files or Folders...", and then type "Shusha*" in the box and click search. This will locate the font that was downloaded.

STEP 2

Once these files are on your machine, place it to C:\WINDOWS\FONTS Open the Windows Explorer program. Locate the three fonts you have downloaded. One by one (or all three together), select the file, and drag the three fonts into the window's FONTS directory.

If you do not see the Shusha font files in FONTS folder, try closing and reopening the Windows Explorer program.
STEP 4

Check out the programs like Word or FrontPage. Look into the list of all fonts in these programs to see if our Shusha fonts are included there. If yes, you did it.
STEP 5

Now you are ready to write anything you want in Hindi/Sanskrit/Marathi/Nepali ! and any language you want to code in Devnagari.
