Abigail Magaro EDET 650 August 28, 2013 Internship Proposal For my internship during the Fall 2013

semester I plan to intern with Tree of Life Congregation. I grew up in this Temple, currently teach Sunday school there, and I am also the Youth Advisor. Tree of Life Congregation is located on Trenholm Road in Columbia, South Carolina. My mentor will be Cheryl Nail. Cheryl is responsible for updating the website, designing flyers and handouts, and creating the monthly newsletter. I have worked with Cheryl before last Fall when I was having trouble with my webpages for class. This semester I will undertake many different projects. I plan to revamp the Temples website by creating introductory videos to the religious school and youth group. I will also be assisting with the creation of the newsletter that will be emailed and sent by mail each month. The hardest project that I will take on this semester is creating an online catalog for the Judaica shop that is located in the Temple. The store sells many items for many different holidays. Taking pictures and giving a description of each item will take some time. I feel that organizing the items into holiday categories will be the easiest way to accomplish all of this in a timely manner.
