    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR APPOINTMENT


    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR TEACHING STAFF
    Assistant Professor: Academic: Ph.D. in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/Institution. Experience: No experience required. OR Masters degree (foreign) or M.Phil (Pakistan) or equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of Education as determined by the HEC in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/Institution. Experience: 4 years teaching/research experience in a recognized university or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization. Lecturer: Academic: Masters degree (First Class) or equivalent degree awarded after 16 years of education, in the relevant field (with no 3rd Division in the Academic Career) from HEC recognized University/Institution. However, the candidate holds a higher degree (M.Phil/Ph.D) or equivalent degree but with only one 3rd division in the entire academic career.

    GENERAL INFORMATION:
    Quota reserved for Women, disable persons and minorities will be observed in accordance with government policy keeping in view the number of posts and ratio fixed under quota i.e 10% Women Quota, 05% Minority Quota and 02% Disabled Quota, separately. Name of Post and Quota should be mentioned on the left corner of the Envelope and applications with block bold letters. Only short listed candidates will be called for Test / Interview. The applicants who have already applied for various positions, shall submit fresh applications for competition against above posts. Application must be accompanied with pay order/demand draft (non-refundable) of Rs.500/- in case of Assistant Professor & Lecturer and Rs. 100/- in case of others drawn in favour of the Treasurer, University of Sargodha. Two most recent passport size photographs should be affixed on each application. Candidates already in service of a Government/Semi-Government Department or an Autonomous Body must apply through proper channel by the due date; otherwise their applications shall not be entertained. Applications received after the last date will not be entertained; even though posted before the last date. Incomplete applications shall also not be entertained. Last date: For all posts is 03.09.2013 The University reserves the right not to consider any application or fill any post without giving any reason. Number of posts can be increased / decreased according to the need of University. The University reserve the right not to fill any position without assigning any reason.
