    Roles on the SMA committee that will become vacant at the 7th November AGM. These are: society secretary Membership Secretary Training officer Ordinary member Serving on committee is very rewarding. All committee members undertake their roles on a voluntary basis but we can support self-funding members by paying travel to attend two of the four meetings per year.     Serving on committee is very rewarding and makes a genuine contribution to the sector as well as providing an excellent CPD opportunity. All committee members undertake their roles on a voluntary basis but we can support self-funding members by paying travel to attend two of the four meetings per year

    If you would like to be considered for any of these roles you will need to be nominated by an existing SMA member and provide two members to support the nomination (we are hoping to change the constitution shortly to make this process easier but in the meantime do bear with us!). We will then take a vote at the AGM on November 7th. If you are currently a non-member you will have join the society. Please email the secretary Caroline McDonald cmcdonald@museumoflondon.org.uk by October 31st with an expression of interest and a brief summary of why you think you are suited to your chosen role with your nominators and supporters clearly stated AND COPIED IN.
