Inspired by research from Cambridge University and Queens University, Belfast, KEGS has developed a wholeschool approach to literacy, engaging students, parents and staff in a desire to enrich learning, improve learning outcomes and create a fully inclusive, enriched curriculum; strategies invaluable to every learner, regardless of ability.

Seminar Leader: Jane Breen (Advanced Skills Teacher, Specialist Leader of Education, Director of Leading Edge)
Jane teaches at King Edward VI Grammar School and delivers CPD locally, regionally and nationally, specialising in Zest for Learning, curriculum development, assessment and teacher research. Jane has won several awards including a European Language Award for a mini-book project in Essex, a LinkedUp award for a science/MFL project in Essex and UK German Teacher of the Year 2007.
