Electronic Portfolio Requirement MAEd-READ students will create an electronic portfolio (E-portfolio) featuring selected course assignments and reflections completed throughout the MAEd-READ Program. An introduction to the E-portfolio will take place in READ 6418, a presentation to READ faculty in READ 6406, and the E-portfolio will be completed during the semester in which students are enrolled in READ 6407. Application for Graduation Students must apply for graduation from the MAEd-READ Program AT THE BEGINNING of the final semester during which coursework is completed. Application is made by contacting the Graduate Director, Dr. Terry Atkinson, at atkinsont@ecu.edu. Graduation takes place in spring and fall semesters only. If graduation is anticipated at the end of summer session, application must take place at the beginning of spring semester immediately preceding this final summer session. Students must be enrolled in at least one course during the semester in which they wish to graduate.
Note: Students who do not take classes during a regular semester (fall/spring) must reapply to the Graduate School in order to reactivate both their status as a graduate student and their ECU email account. Visit the application page on ECUs Graduate School website for further information.
