This Project is to Design and Construct Billing Mart for British Telecom wireles s Inc. The objective is to achieve single point of reference to get the customer data from the various databases. Distributed data residing in heterogeneous dat a sources is consolidated into the target Teradata database. The project involve d creating the data warehouse, analyzing the source data, and then deciding on t he appropriate extraction, transformation and loading strategy. Subsequently, th e data flow from the data source to the target tables were created along with th e required utilities. Genesys Telecommunications is a part of Genesys International. With incr easing demand for new prepaid functionality & the strong growth in prepaid SIOs, The existing prepaid platform is not delivering the new functionality or the pe rformance levels required by Genesys TeleCommunications to remain competitive in the market. The current platform is lacking in basic features that are available fro m other vendor offerings .Hence to our customers, The platforms presents future roadmap and limited functionality means it is not a best of breed platform to supp ort Genesys Tele Communicaton s prepaid mobile business.
