Permissions Permissions allow users to interact with various objects in the MicroStrategy sy stem.

All users created in the MicroStrategy system have certain access rights t o certain objects by default. ??Permissions differ from privileges in that permissions restrict or allow actio ns related to a single object, while privileges restrict or allow actions across all objects in a project. To view the permissions for an object 1From within MicroStrategy Desktop, right-click the object and select Properties . The Properties dialog box opens. 2Expand the Security category. The dialog box lists all users and groups with ac cess to the object, and what permissions those users and groups have for the obj ect.
