PRASOON JOSHI Creativity is inherent in all of us, but very few nurture it.

It is being novel and appropriate with the ability to generate fresh and unique ideas. The creative person I look up to is Prasoon Joshi, a National Award winning Indian lyricist, screenwriter and advertising copywriter. Prasoon takes creativity to another levelin his roles as Chairman & CEO McCann World group India, Executive Creative Director of the Asia Pacific region and Chairperson of McCanns Global Creative council. He is recognized for creating a new breath for advertising in India and is majorly responsible for India coming on the international advertising map. I find him extremely creative, not just because of his remarkable work but also because of his out of the box thinking and ability to visualize and conceptualize innovative ideas and showcasing them in the most ingenious manner. He is one of those rare people who followed his dreams and not only fulfilled it but nurtured his creativity and showcased his talent in so many aspects. From being a lyricist to a scriptwriter, from being an advertising copywriter to a dialogue writer, he has shown his prodigious capability and has always followed his heart to the last mile. His ads varying from happydent or coke crazy ad to Anti child abuse campaign has made him rightfully earn the title of ad guru of India. He inspires me in every possible aspect, he being an MBA learnt all nitty gritty of organizational executive level and uses his fusion of creativity and applied knowledge which results in successful creative solutions. Having spent his early life at many states, he got the feel of real Indian pulse which he uses in his advertising and lyrics. He inspires me to communicate my thoughts in the most effective manner that leads straight to receivers heart and mind. His most significant trait according to me is, never underestimate your dreams and build a path that leads to the utmost desires no matter what. He rightly wrote these beautiful motivational lines which are very close to my heart Tu dhoop hai chham se bikhar, Tu hai nadi o bekhabar from Taare Zameen Par.
