Box 31324 150 North Wiget Lane, Suite 101 Walnut Creek, CA 94598 SUBJECT: TERMINATION OF NRC RADIOACTIVE MATERIALS LICENSE By letter dated September 17, 2012, you informed the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) that you wished to terminate Environmental Management Services, Inc., NRC radioactive materials license number 04-29295-01 and submitted NRC Form 314 dated November 1, 2012 to that effect. The staff has reviewed your termination request, the licensees historical records and inspection reports, and has determined that no radioactive materials were ever procured or possessed by the licensee under this license. Based on these conclusions, no further remediation or actions with respect to NRC regulated material is required. Therefore, enclosed is Amendment No. 03 terminating NRC license number 04-29295-01. An environmental assessment for this action is not required since this action is categorically excluded under 10 CFR 51.22(c)(20)(ii). In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the NRC's document system (ADAMS).
