2013 ANC = WBC x (%segs + %bands) Neutropenia: ANC < 500/mm3 or ANC <1,000/mm3 + predicted decline to <500/mm3 in next 48hrs

Febrile Neutropenia: > 38.3C or >38.0C over 1hr

Risk Factors for Febrile Neutropenia G-CSF Chemotherapy regimen (>20% risk for febrile neutropenia) > 65y/o Previous chemotherapy or radiation Preexisting neutropenia or bone marrow involvement with tumor Preexisting infection, open wound or surgery Poor performance status Poor renal function Liver dysfunction (elevated bilirubin) Filgrastim Pegfilgrastim Prevention of chemoinduced neutropenia Bone Pain
