3.0 Conclusions The E.O.E.C runs a packed program which accommodates a great deal in little time.

Because the experience is intense but fleeting, it is important to evaluate the long-term effects of the program on the students.

The results of the survey show that, in general, the program is performing excellently. Students enjoy their trip and a year later they report, often in great detail, the knowledge they have learned. For most students the trip to the center is an unforgettable experience, for some, it is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Students are continuing to use many teamwork skills beyond the centre. Pride of accomplishment shines through as learners report on their new skills.
