The Youth Cancer Trust is Launching A Campaign With Online Fundraising Scheme Gi ve as You Live The Youth Cancer

Trust is launching a campaign with an online fundraising scheme called Give As You Live. With Give as you Live, thousands of brands including A mazon, Play.com. Bournemouth, Dorset, September 13, 2013 -- Donations to charities, including You th Cancer Trust, have significantly decreased over the last 3 years due to the r ecession and supporters simply not having the same disposable income they used t o have, so Youth Cancer Trust is working with other organisations to use simple ideas that can raise funds without it costing anything to the supporter. Give As You Live works with 2,514 leading stores that have signed up to donate a commission on every online purchase to charity. It only takes a few minutes to register. Online sales this Christmas season will likely top 17 billion. If all of that mone y was spent with Give as you Live, that would raise around 650 million for chariti es. We rely soley on our supporters to help us raise the money it costs to support 250 teenagers and young adults with cancer every year from the UK and Ireland. This type of innovation is so incredibly simple for people to use. They literally jus t register and then the secure software takes care of everything whilst shopping online. It costs the user and the charity absolutely nothing as the brands make the donation. Says Georgina Hillman - Youth Cancer Trust.
