Irish-speaking Russians

Most people would be surprised to meet anybody who is fluent in both Russian and Irish but I was suprised to find that there is even Irish language courses running in Moscow State University.These are not traditionally two languages that go together as the Irish language is not very widespread,especially outside Ireland.There are,however certain interesting cases of Russian people that are fluent in Irish and that would put most Irish people to shame with the standard of the language they have.
