Abstract: This research present the subject of continuing education


which has the interest of the individual, educational institutions for
both, its concept, properties, patterns, areas, objectives and its role in
community service. It will also show economy knowledge of what term
means, and its requirements, pillars, characteristics, and its
components,challenges given by economy knowledge to the
educational system and the factors that promote role of continuing
education in development of industries knowledge and then the
expected roles of institutions educational in an economy knowledge.

and concludes to the recommendations and proposed mechanisms for


the benefit of education of economy knowledge,
the most important: to provide equal opportunities for people in the
collection of knowledge and adapt to the super-advanced
technological changes,and absorbed these without giving up local
autonomy and identity. the arrest wastage
of the available
possibilities in human resources,open the doors to scientific research
