Snack S.T.A.R. Binders

Each student has a 1 inch binder. These binders need to be checked daily and returned to school. They will help keep us organized. . ** Please do not send in any snacks that contain any kind of nut, we have students with serious allergies in our class** Some options are: crackers, cheese, fruit, graham crackers, raisins, & pre-popped popcorn

Supplies
Thank you so much for sending in supplies! We are going to have a great year!
PACE has adopted Sacred Time. During this time period, there will be no announcements made or phone calls put through to the classrooms unless there is an absolute emergency. Sacred Time runs from 8:05-11:00 & 1:30-3:20. You may leave me a voice mail or send an e-mail and I will return your call during my lunch or prep periods, or after school.

Birthday Celebrations:
In an effort to providing a safe and healthy learning environment for all students, we are limiting the birthday celebrations in the classroom to one celebration per month. On that date, we will celebrate the birthdays of all of the students born in that month. The snack calendar will indicate the date of the celebration. . We will also be limiting the treats at the celebrations to one cupcake or other sweet treat and the remaining treats should be healthier snacks.

Tardies & Absences

School begins at 7:45, students will be marked tardy beginning at 8:05. Being on time to school insures that your child will receive a breakfast and have time to complete morning work. Punctuality also prevents the disruptions to the learning environment that occurs when students are coming in late. 2 tardies = 1 absence.
