Make up simply lets the audience know that the character is most probably a ballerina of some sort.

Camera Whilst the camera does not move, it uses many different shots at different heights and distances (such as BCUs, mid shots, high angles) to show the actresses body language, facial expressions, costume, dancing, etc

In the intro, the only sound present is the song on the piano. The piano is put here to create a sense of beauty yet also a sense of danger. It is the kind of music that would make someone shiver when heard with the dance. However later we are introduced to synchronous sounds (cars), the dialogue between the police officers and the general ambience

Example of the text : Editing In the intro, the pace and the transitions are quite slow, like the dance. However, later on the pace and the transitions are quite quick, like the life in the city. The text used is bold and white. The boldness is simply used to it is clear to the viewer, however, the white yet again could symbolise the purity and innocence of the scene.
