Branstads office and the Department of Workforce Development that explain the development of the Gross over-the-month Employment Gains. As you are likely aware, Gov. Branstads Administration has added this statistic to the Iowa Workforce Developments monthly jobs total reporting. The materials covered by my request include, but are not limited to, any electronic or written communication between members of Gov. Branstads Administration and employees of the Department of Workforce Development over the past 12 months that contain the phrase Gross over-the-month Employment Gains. Please inform me if fees resulting from this request will exceed $100. In the event there are fees, I request they be waived in that the disclosure of the requested information is in the public interest and will contribute significantly to the publics understanding of how the Governors Office has influenced Iowa Workforce Developments statistics reporting.
