Baseball Scoutz capped an undefeated run through the 2013 CABA 17u Wood Bat World Series with a 3-1 victory over the West End Baseball Academy 17u team. Baseball Scoutz used solid pitching and timely hitting in winning their first CABA championship. They defeated Upstate Mavericks 7-4 in the semi-finals. West End also entered the championship game unbeaten after a strong run through the tournament. A 7-3 win over the Shamrocks team from Georgia propelled them into the championship showdown.
