Topic Objectives

Word Processing At the end of the lesson pupils should be able to : i-Create indentation at the first line ii-Change the spacing of the text from single to double and vice versa. 1.1.11.1.2Use tab key to create first line indentation. Change the spacing of paragraphs -double -single Activity 1. Indentation Step 1-Click start Step 2-Ask pupils to type the passage given. Step 3- Place the cursor at the first letter of the paragraph. Step 4- Press Tab on the key board. Step 5 Repeat the step 3 for the next paragraph. Step 6- Save your work and name it WHALE. Activity 2.Change from single to double spacing vice versa Step 1- Click start. Step 2- Ask pupils to open the WHALE file. Step 3- Highlight the whole text. Step 4- Click FORMAT at the menu bar. Then click PARAGRAPH at the pull down menu. Step 5- Go to LINE SPACING, choose and click DOUBLE SPACING. Step 6- Click OK and save. Step 7- Repeat step 1-4 then click LINE SPACING and click SINGLE SPACING. Step 8-Click OK and save.
