(v.24) Everyone who hears my words and obeys them is like a wise man who built his house on rock. (v.25) It rained hard, the floods came, and the winds blew and hit that house. But it did not fall, because it was built on rock.

Similarities of the 2 Builders:

Both had desires to build a house. Both built and completed it. Both are subject to the storms.

The foundation of our life is as critical as the foundation of any home.

The word of God says that we need to build our life upon the rock a firm foundation which is JESUS CHRIST.

JESUS is the only foundation that will keep us safe from destruction.

How to build your life on JESUS, the firm FOUNDATION?

Step#1:

For all have sinned and comes short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)

- means to have faith and trust in Christ for your salvation.
Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)

For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 2:5-6)

Jesus said, I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through ME.
