Experimental Objective
Successfully design a logic circuit that will work under

specific conditions using LabVIEW and NI-ELEVIS ||+ Prototype Board.

Become familiarized with digital logic and digital

circuits and how they work.

Introduction
Digital logic is useful because it makes it easier for an

electronic device to switch to a known state.

Digital logic are used all around us. Its used in

computers, chips, cameras etc

Background Information
In Boolean logic there are two outputs true or false,

The outputs are represented by the values 1 and 0, respectively.

There are seven different logic gates: NOT, AND, OR,

NAND, NOR, XOR, and XNOR.

Background Information
Truth tables show the input and the output for these

inputs and help us in making the following.

Boolean equation K-map

Materials
7432 IC (4 dual-input OR gates)
7408 IC (4 dual-input AND gates) 7404 IC (6 single input NOT gates)

Lab PC with LabVIEW Software

NI-ELVIS II+ with Prototyping Board Appropriate Wiring

Procedure
Construct a truth table for the problem.
Construct a Kay-map using the truth table. Figure out an equation that describes the problem.

Solve the problem using LabVIEW.

Solve the problem using ELEVIS-NI ||+ Prototype

board. Clean up . Give the TA the lab notes.

Data/Observations

Results
The logic circuit was designed and constructed

successfully on both LabVIEW and NI-ELEVIS ||+ prototype board.

Conclusion
The goal of this experiment was achieved and the logic

circuit was constructed and the problem was solved.

In the future using, logical circuits, Canberk might be

able to download his dream because his dreams are awesome!
