English Translation

Tom: At which university do you study, Abby?

Abby: I study at The University of Massachusetts Amherst, and you?
Tom: I study at Hampshire College.
Abby: I know that the system in Hampshire College is different from
UMass.
Tom: You are right, it is a Liberal Arts College where I can choose the
courses I take without being confined to a specific major.
Abby: This is different from my university since I major in Political
Science and Journalism.
Tom: When was UMass established?
Abby: It was established in 1863. Now it has branches in five different
cities in Massachusetts.
Tom: Hampshire College was established in 1970.
Abby: Did you take any courses at UMass?
Tom: Yes, last semester I took a course in Introductory Linguistics.
