Itll be very hard for laws for the whole country to be passed. If a few states didnt agree then the United States would be at a standstill about a law. Making any changes to the Articles would be made impossible because a minority might disagree. The federal government will have no constant supply of money with which to pay soldiers, build infrastructure, or pay off its debts. Smuggling might become rampant. Illegal products like drugs, bootlegged goods, and counterfeits might be easily exchanged. States with bad feelings towards another country might remain in war and hurtle the whole United States into another prolonged conflict. The laws (which take the approval of 9 states) would be ineffective since no one could enforce them. A ban against cocaine might prove ineffective. There is no court of the highest stage. Crimes made against federal law would be prosecuted ineffectively in state or city courts.
