Noel Wentworth 1634 Harvey Ave. Kelowna, BC V1Y 6G2 Dear Mr. Wentworth: I am applying for a teaching position as a vocal teacher for young children or individuals who have no previous vocal training. I heard about the position when a current vocal teacher at your business informed me about it. I am interested in this position because music means everything to me and having the chance to have music be included in my job is my dream! I will also look forward to meeting new people and working with children because those are two things that I excel at. As I stated in the previous paragraph, I am great when working with kids and working with new people which will help a great deal as a vocal teacher. I have been taking vocal lessons since the age of ten as well as taking piano lessons since the age of nine which will help while teaching new students. I have also taken my Grades 7 and 8 Rock School vocal exams and my Grades 4 and 5 Rock School piano exams. I have received several awards from the Kiwanis Music Festival as well. I have also taken part in the Wentworth Music Band Factory for four years and have performed in fourteen of your bi-annual concerts which makes me an experienced performer. As an employee I could make a contribution by helping people with little or no previous vocal experience improve their vocal technique and help make them feel comfortable singing up on stage. I would love an opportunity to have an interview with you or with one of your staff. You can contact me by emailing katiawellsgreen@hotmail.com or by calling my cell phone number at (250)859-3389. Thank you for your time and I hope to be hearing from you in the near future. Sincerely,

Katia Wells-Green
