Economics in Education Man is said to be an economic being.

Human needs and wants are essential for their own survival. Thus, managing limited resources while meeting basic needs and luxuries are the challenge of teaching economics as a subject. With the present curriculum, teachers are bound to exercise devotion and commitment in teaching. And most importantly, the art to questioning in the delivery of lesson is required. Economics as a practical subject demands a teacher to be dynamic, passionate and has nose for the news if subject inside the classroom can be found in broadsheets and other forms of media. Effectively relating these news or events would help teachers deliver the goods efficiently to students. Moreover, lessons are presented effectively if students personally experienced the concept in either way. Furthermore, critical thinking is asserted from the moment the students argue with their stand and can also serve as springboard in development of values particularly applying sound judgement through concepts that are learned from the lessons.
