Fjallalamb slaughterhouse and food production plant is seeking after hardworking people for the upcoming slaughterseason this

autumn, which starts September and reaches until approximately October. Experience is recommended but not necessary. We are looking for persons who are willing to do hard work and long hours, allthough it depends on what type of work youll be doing. Normal working hours are from 07:00 16:00 Mondays Fridays. Minimum salary is about per month before taxes and duties. Overtime is paid after regular hours with compensation of 80% over regular hours. Salaries can be higher depending on the job at hand, your training and skills as in your abilities to adapt to new things and to the work environment around you. Work clothes and mandatory safety equipments is provided free of charge. to lighten your travel expenses upon a satisfactory completion of your work during the whole season. Fjallalamb is based on the north-east coast of Iceland in a small village called Kpasker. The weather here is fairly mild but beginning to cool down during the season. But snow is not to be expected until the end of October or November. One of the most beautifull weathers in Iceland is during the autumn. The air is cool and clear and the nature changes its colours from green to red, orange, brown and yellow. Then the Northern Lights sail their way over the sky on cold and starclear nights. We are very close to the National Park where you can visit sbyrgi and Dettifoss ( the most powerfull waterfall in Europe) and other beautifull places.
