    Peter Blake

    Sea Assakul

    Peter Blake was born on the 25 June 1932, in Dartford, Kent. He is an English pop artist who was best known for his design of the Beatles, Sargent Peppers, album cover.

    This is the Sargent Peppers album cover. According to Blake, the original concept was to create a scene that showed the Sargent. Pepper band performing in a park. This gradually evolved into its final form, which as seen, shows the Beatles as the Sargent. Pepper band surrounded by a large group of their heroes rendered as life-sized cut-out figures.
