During years of my education I have obtained valuable knowledge about playing cello as a soloist, chamber musician and orchestra

player. I have also learned about what it means to be a musician by learning from and performing with world-renowned musicians, such as Elma Oliveira. I have learned the importance of classical music in the history of the Western Civilization. I believe that getting a DMA from University of Miami will teach me how to organize my knowledge and present it in an Academic setting where what I know will be enriched and grow exponentially through interaction with the great faculty and my future colleagues. My goal is to reach my full potential as academically trained musician who will be able to pass on what I have been taught to the next generations of musicians.
