In the main title explaining the article it reads Back to the Future this, is as explained in the text above

is in regard to the major criticisms of the albums St Anger and Load and Reload which fans considered to be extremely weak compared to previous work as Ride The Lightning and Master Of Puppets, the title therefore infers that Metallica are going back to their roots to give the fans what they desire a more heavy album. We also see a white font colour which evidently contrasts with the very metal black background, which makes it the most standout text on the page, the font itself is the dramatic writing which is a major thing associated with metal magazines and is not found in other genres adding to genre and magazine identity. The main image of Metallica in their usual parodyesque style, with poses acting serious but not being, two of the members have long hair which is a common fashion statement in the metal genre. As with most of their pictures they are in all black which connotes darkness, mysterious and death, all things that link to metal, like the album

Nearer the bottom of the pages we see a lot of differing content, on the left we see a quotation from drummer Lars about the new album they are releasing by the name of Death Magnetic the name yet again continues to link death to the metal genre, though it is not exclusive to this genre, for example female singer Lana Del Ray has undertones of death, however in the metal genre it is very open with what it is sett ing out to say, with some songs being very predictable with others having brilliant, subtle undertones. On the other side we have information on the contributors and the main text
