    YEAR 4

    A Turkish tale:

    I WANT THE SUN

    I WANT THE SUN


    We received the story of Ali, his mother and the Sun. Then, we decided to change this story into a play and do it as DRAMA activity.

    Year 4 students went to the classes of the 4year-olds. Each group of 3 students in year 4 took 3 or 4 students in P4 (4year-olds) and took them outside the classrooms.

    In each group we had a narrator, who was moving the Sun when needed, a child representing Ali and his mother.

    Year 4 students acted the Turkish play energetically and the 4year-olds behaved very well while they were listening to the story and looking at the old students.

    Year 4 students gave a little present to the younger ones: A necklace with a sun made by them in the Arts and Crafts class.

    After that, all students played some games together.

    We all had a great time!!!

    We were very proud of sharing that nice afternoon.
