The most competitive road racing countries have ranged from Belgium to Italy to Spain. As the sport becomes more popular, other countries, such as the United States, have produced top cyclists. Now, viewers and road cyclists alike gather in front of their televisions in order to watch their favorite athletes race around the world on their light, speedy bicycles.
