Dear Parents and Guardians,

Okinawa International School will be celebrating one of its major events this year, the
Sports Festival on the 9th of June 2013, Sunday at Naha City Gym from 9:30am to
3:00pm. Celebrating the 11th Year of OIS: Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger is this
years Sports Festival Theme.

Below are the details in preparation for this event:

1. General Rehearsal (Owlet ~ Middle School) at Naha City Gym will be on June 6
from 12:00nn to 4:00pm. (Regular pick-up time will be the same).
This day is going to be a Bento Day.

2. Preschool students dont need to attend the general rehearsal.

3. Sports Festival fee is 1000 yen. Sports Festival fee will be collected until May
20,2013. The fee was raised because of the venue.

4. Assembly time for the Sports Festival on June 9 is 9:00am.

SCHEDULE OF PRACTICES FOR SPORTS FESTIVAL 2013

Preschool and Kindergarten have started practicing for the Sports Festival whereas the
Elementary and MYP students will start by this week, onwards.

Practices for all students will be done on the following dates: May 27, 29, 31 June 5-7
and the venue will be announced later.

Please let your child wear OIS blue shirt or PE uniform and any comfortable pants on
these days. Kindly provide extra set of clothes, too.
