Ingredients: 1 cup rolled oats 1 boiling water DRY INGREDIENTS 1 cup all purpose flour cup light brown sugar 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda tsp salt 1 tsp cinnamon Method: Task 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Put muffin cups into muffin tins. 3. Combine rolled oats and boiling water in a bowl and let stand for 10 min while preparing other ingredients. 4. Stir all dry ingredients together. (while one person is doing this, someone else can be grating the apple.) 5. Melt butter in microwave until melted for 30 sec. 6. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Add the butter and vanilla, beating together. 7. Stir the rolled oats mixture into the eggs, butter and vanilla mixture. 8. Add the grated apple to the wet ingredients. 9. Pour the dry into the wet and stir together gently. 10. Then add the chocolate chips or blueberries. 11. Pour into muffin tins and bake for 15-20 min. (Check after 15 by inserting a toothpick into muffins.) Special Instructions WET INGREDIENTS 2 eggs c. butter melted 1 tsp. vanilla cup grated apple cup chocolate chips OR blueberries
