The latest "star" among apostate Christianity is Joel Osteen, pastor of the nondenominational Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas. Osteen currently claims the nations largest congregation with over 47,000 members, earning a Gigachurch status. Lakewood has purchased the colossal Compaq Center, formerly home of the NBAs Houston Rockets, to house Osteens church, with an additional $95 million in renovations. New York Times (July 18, 2005) reports Lakewoods 2004 revenues of 55 million dollars. Osteens book of self-esteem, "feel good," self-help-guide titled, Your Best Life Now: Seven Steps to Living at Your Full Potential, has ranked number one on the "New York Times" best-seller list. Wxyz.com writes of Osteens enormous popularity, "In the world of religion, hes achieved the status of a rock star. . ." In an interview with Larry King, KING asks: What if youre Jewish or Muslim, you dont accept Christ at all? OSTEEN: You know, Im very careful about saying who would and wouldnt go to heaven. I dont know . . . KING: If you believe you have to believe in Christ? Theyre wrong, arent they? OSTEEN: Well, I dont know if I believe theyre wrongBut I just think that only God will judge a persons heart. I spent a lot of time in India with my father. I dont know all about their religion (Hinduism). But I know they love God. And I dont know. Ive seen their sincerity. So I dont know . I know for me, and what the Bible teaches, I want to have a relationship with Jesus. Hindus love Jehovah God, and worship Him as Scripture commands? All sincere souls go to heaven?...

Pastor Joel Osteen continues to lead people away from Jesus Christ, as he calls Mormonism a true Christian faith!

As we have pointed out so often, Mormonism is a counterfeit Christianity whose roots lie deeply in Freemasonry and Black Magick Witchcraft. I find it incredible that a pastor like Osteen, who commands the respect of many tens of thousands at least, should declare to the world that Mormonism is true Christianity. Further, even if Mormons profess Jesus Christ, they do not believe in the biblical Jesus, for they teach that Jesus and Lucifer are brothers, and that Jesus was only a fine World Teacher. Sadly, Osteen falls simply in the category of apostate, Liberal Christianity. Please watch this video all the way through, so you can hear the facts, that Joel Osteen does not mention the Bible or Jesus in his popular messages and his even more popular books. When asked what he does during his morning devotion, Osteen

does not say that he reads the Bible or prays; rather, he simply says that he searches his own heart to see if he is on the right course. He does not say that the Bible is his guide for such searching, and he certainly does not say that he relies upon prayer. The Bible clearly states that there is a way which seems right to a man, but the end of that way is spiritual death! By this positive-thinking teaching which is totally devoid of Biblical foundation, Osteen is opening the door to the appearance of Antichrist! Pastor Osteen needs to repent of his unbiblical christian teachings and get back solidly to teaching and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus will not be impressed that Osteen preached to tens of thousands.
